Today I want to tell about a beautiful discovery I recently did. I’m sure that street food lovers, but especially Tortellini lovers, will appreciate it 😉
Do you think that it’s possible to combine tradition and creativity? Typicality and new needs?
Luca Dall’Olio says “yes” and I totally agree with him 🙂
Luca is the owner, with his mum, of the “Tortellino Boutique”, a wonderful fresh pasta shop (where I took a millions of pics) in the center of Modena. Entering in this shop means diving in the tradition, in the care and passion enclosed in the fresh pasta preparation.
Every day skilled hands prepare delicious dishes to take home… or to eat in!
Yes, because the beauty is just in that: Luca has recently decided to give the possibilities to his customers and to all those people who want to take away his specialities to do so.
This idea came in occasion of a modenese event during which Luca wanted to organize something special.
So, inspired by what he had seen in Bologna, he decided to re-interpretate the idea of eating fresh pasta “on the go”.
Thanks to a thermic glass, with double bottom and a special cover that allows you to hold it in your hands without get burned, Luca now serves “tortellini”, “passatelli” or “tortelloni” that you can taste while your walkings around the city.
Even if you can eat tortellini all the year, in winter this is the best way to warm your hands, stomach and your heart 😉
The recipe is the one of his mother and the quality is excellent.
I didn’t know about a place like this in Modena before. When I discovered it I founded this thing a little bit unusual and beautiful at the same time. In this special shop you can taste excellent dishes prepared instantly: it is perfect for those who haven’t much time on their lunch break but at the same time don’t want to give up to a good pasta dish.
Here you can breathe an authentic “neighborhood air “ that you can easily understand by looking at the beautiful synergy with the grocery store in front of the boutique that don’t miss the occasion to borrow its tables to Luca’s clients.
If you are in the center of Modena and you want to have a different experience, stop in Luca’s shop and let me know what you think about his idea 😉
