It is really a great pleasure sharing the video (in Italian) dedicated to My Diary Modena project realized by Città di Modena. I’m honored.
Having the possibility to talk about my idea, directly through the official communication city channels is something that from one side makes me very proud and on the other makes me appreciate immensely the availability of Modena’s institutions to the liberal initiatives that have in common the goal of the city promotion.
The City of Modena, through its “digital team”, has already proved to be very active and careful to everything that comes “from below”.
It does it every day on its Facebook page sharing methodically and continuously images of the beauties of the city that citizens publish on social networks. It does it dedicating some space to people in a special section on its website called “Racconta la tua città“.
“Glimpses over the city”, the video section of the City of Modena
It is in this section that you can find the video format entitled “Glimpses over the city” (where is now also My Modena Diary), a space “dedicated to Modena seen through the eyes of those who live there, work there and love it“. Here “are collected short videos which talk about the most original and creative crafts and professions of Modena’s people, able to combine tradition and innovation”.
The idea to improve the dialogue and the debate with those who live in the city is a big value that focuses on people and their stories.
All of this has much in common with My Diary Modena whose main objective is telling the story from a personal point of view of what I think should be enhanced and brought to the attention.
This probably the reason why must I felt so comfortable while the shooting of this video ! ; )
The desire to tell Modena through digital media (and not) is mutual and animated by the same value of sharing.
In this way so the interview is flown by, the shooting was a moment of mutual knowledge and also of fun and I felt the protagonist of a beautiful story made by people for people 🙂
