This is the story of an idea that I had in recent months.
\nIt comes instinctively, like all those things that one feels to\u00a0do, perhaps because they seems natural or\u00a0because you already feel them yours.
\nIn this way I have\u00a0matured the\u00a0desire to talk about Modena<\/strong>. The city where I live, where I was born and\u00a0grown up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Indeed, I feel like I’ve been doing this for my whole life. Probably,\u00a0it will be for my unbridled passion for mobile photography and the instinct to share my experiences online, but Modena is one of the main subjects of my photographic adventures and of\u00a0my Instagram profile<\/a>.
\nAnd how it couldn’t be! It has been the background of my life for almost 37 years \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that our lives are deeply linked to the territory where we grow up, where we form our identity.
\nThis\u00a0makes our experiences and our stories unique.<\/p>\n

So\u00a0“My Modena Diary” i<\/strong><\/em>s a blog that talk about Modena, one of the lovely cities of Emila-Romagna region in Italy, from a personal point of view, <\/strong>mine, but more generally from the writer’s point of view (yes, because it seems that I will not be alone, but this is another story \ud83d\ude09 ). My<\/span>\u00a0goal is to talk about my city telling a story, as much as possible shared, through a lifestyle, some experiences, different points of views, images (especially images \ud83d\ude42 ) and emotions.
\nI would like to show Modena through my eyes and I’d love to make you want to come visit\u00a0me! \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

“My Modena Diary” <\/strong><\/em>is a project that is taking shape over time. It was early September when I convinced my friend photographer to take me around Modena and to make me some shots (that explains why in these pictures I dress short sleeves and sandals \ud83d\ude42 ). I remember that it was the same Sunday of the\u00a0<\/span>show in Piazza Grande<\/em> dedicated to Maestro Luciano Pavarotti.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>The streets were full of people, both tourists and locals. And it was there that I realized: “How many\u00a0people appreciate my city!<\/em>“. I felt to be on the right track.<\/span><\/p>\n

Browsing\u00a0the net to see what I could find on Modena, I came across this Italian nice article: “How Modena is viewed from afar<\/a><\/strong>“.
\n<\/em>The article writes\u00a0about the way in which the most important travel guides and newspapers (Lonely Planet,<\/a>\u00a0The New York Times<\/a>, Rough Guides<\/a>) describe Modena. It seems that all of them are speaking about the same “standard things to do”. This make me smile, but also think that I would like to try to bring out more of my city than the usual (important) things already known.
\n<\/span>
\nI think that Modena changed a lot in these years. By provincial town famous only for some things (cars, singing\u00a0and food) it’s now opening to new\u00a0opportunities that I believe they should be made known. And I want to try!<\/span><\/p>\n
